After christening the product, designing the product logo, the application UI and the product microsite, and coming up with the “Play. Surf. View. Enjoy!” tagline for the product, the packaging was a logical extension of the scope.
It was a challenge to maintain the fun element in the overall look (the product is targeted at 3-8 year olds) while also ensuring that it covered, at a glance, all the aspects that would inform parents about the product features and get them interested in buying it.
We experimented with varied form factors before zeroing in on this one – a simple pulley-based system that allowed the disk to pop up when the cover was pulled apart.
