Heart Protect Kit

Meril Life Sciences, manufacturers of stents for use in coronary angioplasty, required a patient kit that comprised a pedometer, personal recovery monitoring cards and diary, FAQs and an informative DVD.

We were called on for creating the kit logo, the packaging design and the design of all the elements that comprised the kit. Once we had defined the elements and a base visual grid for the contents of the pack, we got down to creating each individual item – complete with imagery and copy – and compiled it all into one crisp outer box.

One item does need particular mention – the welcome card. This was designed as a single punched form to open up a 3D stairway, where each step gave simple and basic instructions to the patient on the way to a speedy recovery.
